Session Overview: This webinar provides strategies to approach the auditing of an organisation's culture and ethics, along with audit methods and tools to tackle this task. What I will learn: The relevance of culture as a component of the control environment and a risk factor; a model for understanding how culture can be managed; a 6-step process to defining your strategy with auditing culture; and options for audit methods and tools to use. Presenter: Stephen Horne, PFIIA CIA CGAP CRMA, Principal,Checks Balances and Integrity Stephen is a professional non-executive Director and Principal of his own business, Checks Balances and Integrity, following 38 years in the NSWG in such roles as Assistant Auditor-General (Performance Audit) and CEO of the Internal Audit Bureau. Stephen joined the IIA's Australian National Board in 2009, was President and Chair of the Australian Board 2013-2015, is a current Director of the IIA Global Board, and Chair of the IIA Global Public Sector Guidance Committee. Stephen has Co-Chaired SOPAC three times, and last year was Vice Chair for the International Conference in Sydney, and specifically responsible for the Conference programme with nearly 80 speakers.
