TechTalks are 60 minute sessions conducted over the Zoom Meeting Platform. TechTalks will focus on practical approaches to internal audits of various kinds as well as the application of current assurance strategies and methodolgies.

• Developing meaningful metrics to measure performance and quality of deliverables
• Managing the complexities of diverse stakeholder groups
• Communicating observations to third party service providers that drive meaningful improvements in control and operating environments

Presenter: Mark Harrison PFIIA CIA CRMA, Managing Director, Sententia Consulting

Mark has over 25 years international and domestic experience (which includes experience at the senior public servant level) in program leadership, audit and assurance services, senior financial management and risk management advice, advising agencies and corporations in program management, and reviewing some of the most significant programs of work across the Australian Government (including multi-entity programs). Mark has worked on some of the most significant Government programs in connection with technology, infrastructure, transformation and major policy reform programs, as well as several reviews for Budget purposes and complex reviews reporting to Ministers or Parliamentary Committees. Mark has worked in both the public and private sectors providing financial, business and risk management services with large project-oriented and complex operational organisations. He is well regarded for his client engagement and team engagement skills - making people comfortable and understanding of what needs to be done, and how to get there. Most recently, Mark has spent much of this year working in the business continuity arena associated with bushfires and COVID-19, working with some of the most high profile elements of Australia's response.
