TechTalk - Auditing Culture - A Tale of Two Sectors

TechTalks are 60 minute sessions conducted over the Zoom Meeting Platform. TechTalks will focus on practical approaches to internal audits of various kinds as well as the application of current assurance strategies and methodologies.

'Auditing culture - A tale of two sectors' will cover:

• Identify the importance of auditing culture in an organisation
• Learn about a framework for approaching the audit of culture, including 'framework' and 'behavioural' perspectives
• Examine the similarities and differences in auditing culture in the financial services sector and public sector and see how they can teach other
• Explore how to implement the principles of auditing culture in their own relevant organisation regardless of sector
• Practical insights and case studies from both the financial services and public sectors

Greg is a highly skilled professional in the internal audit and risk management field with over 25 years' experience, both in public and private sectors in developing, implementing, transforming and leading internal audit functions for large organisations in Australia and South Africa.

Greg is currently the Chief Internal Auditor for the National Disability Insurance Agency as well as an independent audit committee member.

Nicola Rimmer-Hollyman CIA QIAL, Head of Internal Audit, AMP Services
Nicola has had over 20 years experience in risk and internal audit, both in the UK and Australia, with a strong focus on conduct and culture. She aims to influence teams and stakeholders to do things differently to protect and sustain organisations, and passionately believes the 'how' is as important as the 'what'. She is the currently the Head of Internal Audit for AMP Australia, and previously held positions in ANZ, Barclays, HBOS and the UK Regulator.
