Myths and Insights in Microsoft 365 and Azure Security

Given the extremely important role of Microsoft cloud services to most NZ organisations, it's surprising how these services can be misunderstood by non-technical teams. To help you get a better understanding of what to look for, this is a non-technical talk that will go over misconceptions, pitfalls, and common antipatterns that face everyone using Microsoft 365 and/or Azure services, and opportunities for audit and assurance staff to help.

Jed Laundry is a Principal Consultant at CyberCX. Prior to his current role, he was an architect at an IT MSP, and prior to that an in-house security manager. Part technical geek and part manager, he helps organisations simplify and realise value from their security investments.
