Mō te tūnga | About the role

An opportunity has arisen for a professional and proactive individual to join the Risk and Internal Assurance team. As a Forensic Data Analyst, you will be pivotal as the information and insights you generate will support and drive fraud risk analysis and workplace integrity fact-finding investigations.

We work closely with our Senior Leadership Team and receive a high level of support in the functions we perform.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring

You will have a curious disposition and a background in data systems and analytics with  strong numerical and research skills and the ability to successfully analyse information and draw conclusions on your own. Some other requirements of the role include but are not limited to: 

  • Experience in computer tools in the areas of information management, and specialised intelligence software
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant public sector legislation
  • Previous experience in fraud and integrity, assurance, internal audit etc
  • Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural practices in particular; knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pacific peoples' culture

Oranga Tamariki offer a step-based remuneration package, that offers progression annually for experience through tenure. Annual remuneration for this position starts between $77,886 and $86,082 dependant on experience. We offer a vibrant and supportive team, flexible work options and a genuine commitment to wellbeing.
