Mō te Tūranga | About the Role

Reporting directly to our Group General Manager Internal Audit, this role is responsible for providing assurance and internal audit services across the SkyCity Group ensuring quality and timely delivery of the annual internal audit plan.

  • End to end internal audits, including reporting
  • Support with uplift in maturity, effectiveness and efficiency of the internal audit framework
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ethical auditing
  • Assist in identifying and assessing potential risks with the organisation's operations during audits

Mōu | About You

  • CIA or CA qualified (or other relevant business degree)
  • 5+ years experience in an internal audit role within a commercial environment or professional services firm
  • Extensive experience in risk management, compliance disciplines within highly regulated environments
  • Strong relationship building with internal and external auditors
  • Ability to write clear, concise and well-structured high quality reports 

You will have strong communication and analysis skills, along with a passion and drive for risk management, continuous improvement, a natural curiosity and high attention to detail. The work is very interesting and there is real value that can be added.
