Expressions of Interest Now Open: Join an IIA NZ Committee 2025 - 2026

Are you passionate about advancing the internal audit profession in Aotearoa? The Institute of Internal Auditors New Zealand (IIA NZ) is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from dedicated members who wish to contribute their time, skills, and energy by joining one of our active committees.

We are currently seeking members for the following committees:

  • Advocacy Committee
  • Education Committee
  • Membership Committee (which may also include opportunities to serve as a regional IIA NZ Ambassador)

If you are interested in learning more about any of these roles, please contact Sally Dunbar, IIA NZ CEO, at ceo@iianz.org.nz. She will provide an overview of responsibilities, role descriptions, and relevant committee policy documentation. Please note: To be eligible, you must be a financial member of IIA. Committee appointments are for a one-year term, running from June to May. Committee meetings are held every 4 - 6 weeks, depending on the committee's schedule, and typically run for up to 1.5 hours.

Each committee includes up to two elected Board members. Activities are led by a Committee Chair, supported by a Deputy Chair.

Non-Board members are appointed through this EOI process, ensuring transparency and fairness, and welcoming those who can demonstrate commitment, capacity, and enthusiasm to contribute.

To apply, please submit your Expression of Interest in writing, along with your CV, by 5 pm on Thursday, 30 May 2025 to ceo@iianz.org.nz.

Help shape the future of IIA NZ — we look forward to hearing from you!
