IIA-Australia

The IIA-Australia has a connection of nearly 7000 professionals inclusive of 3000 members Australia-wide. Globally the IIA represents over 200,000 members in over 170 countries.

Governed by a Board and supported by a national office, IIA-Australia's mission is to advance the profession and practice of internal auditing and its vision is that internal audit professionals are sought after as trusted advisors to boards and executives. One of IIA-Australia's five key objectives is to build the profession of internal audit (through education and training and insights).

The informative webinars offered by IIA-Australia are available free of charge to IIA NZ members.

IIA-Australia's education program also includes the Graduate Certificate in Internal Auditing (GradCertIA). The GradCertIA is a fully accredited, online postgraduatequalification for professionals wanting to establish or progress their career in internal audit, assurance, governance and risk. The program is designed to impart fundamental knowledge and skills in the field of internal auditing and is available to candidates in New Zealand.

The flexibility provided by the GradCertIA being conducted entirely online and its relevance to a variety of organisational contexts makes it a very compelling education option.
