Welcome to the Institute of Internal Auditors New Zealand, the professional body for internal auditing
Background
The current Rules of the Institute of Internal Auditors Inc (S7) and supporting By-Laws provide that the National Board is elected at the Annual General Meeting (AGM), with elected members serving a two-year term.
However, at the 2025 AGM, with the adoption of the proposed new Constitution in alignment with our obligations under the Incorporated Societies Act, Board members will serve a three-year term. Board members may be re-elected for a second consecutive three-year term, after which they must step down from the Board.
Nominations are now called to fill the two (2) vacant positions on the Board.
Currently, two Board members have completed their initial two-year term and have chosen not to stand for re-election for a second term. This includes Ramon Manzano and Jocelyn Ooi.
The total number of vacancies on the Board will be two (2).
