Notice of Business:

  • Receiving apologies.
  • Approving the minutes of the AGM 2025 held on 21 May 2025.
  • Receiving the Annual Report for the year ending 2025.
  • Any remits, if applicable.
  • Election for the vacancies on the National Board for 2026 – 2029.
  • General Business for which due notice has been given.

The agenda and all documentation relating to the IIA NZ AGM 2026 will be released on 29 April 2026.

The Annual Report and Financial Review Statements for the year ending 2025 will be released on 29 April 2026.

The IIA NZ Board Elections 2026 Candidate Profiles and Voting Form will be released on 29 April 2026 and will close on Sunday 17 May 2026, midnight.

To assist with the flow of the AGM, please send any questions relating to the Annual Report or Financial Statements to admin@iianz.org.nz prior to the close of business on Monday 11 May 2026. These will be answered during the AGM. This does not preclude the asking of questions at the AGM.

In accordance with section 10.3 (e) of the 2025 IIA NZ Constitution. A Member wishing to bring before the Annual General Meeting any notice of motion or business not relating to the ordinary business of The Institute shall give notice in writing to the Secretariat not less than fourteen (14) calendar days before the day of the Annual General Meeting and no notice of motion or business other than the business brought forward by the Board shall come before the Annual General Meeting unless such notice has been given.

AGM registrations are now open. If you wish to attend the AGM online, please ensure you register before Monday 18 May 2026, to allow the IIA NZ National Office sufficient time to send the online link to you. For those attending the AGM in person, registrations will remain open until the start of the AGM on Wednesday 20 May, at midday, where you will be able to register manually if you haven't already registered.

Voting opens on 29 April 2026, and closes on Sunday 17 May 2026, midnight.

Please note: Voting will be conducted in person at the AGM and via the online Proxy voting form. In accordance with IIA NZ Constitution, Rule 12.6(e) – Proxies, a form appointing a proxy sent in writing is of no effect unless The Institute receives it no later than 48 hours before the commencement of the General Meeting.  The online voting form will enable you to appoint either the Chair or another current IIA NZ member to vote on your behalf if you are unable to attend. Completion of the Proxy voting form will confirm that you are recorded as attending in absence and included for quorum purposes.
