TechTalks are 60 minute sessions conducted over the Zoom Meeting Platform. TechTalks will focus on practical approaches to internal audits of various kinds as well as the application of current assurance strategies and methodolgies.

Presenter: Leigh Flanigan PMIIA CIA, Executive Manager - Audit, CSIRO

Leigh joined the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) in October 2007, and has been the Executive Manager leading CSIRO's Internal Audit team since 2010. Leigh has over 20 years' experience in external and internal audit, having previously held roles with KPMG, Powercor Australia, and EDS Australia, and has worked in Chile, the UK, North America, Malaysia, Japan and New Zealand in these roles.

Leigh is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (ICAANZ), the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) and the IIA.
