ACFE Christchurch October Event - Employment law considerations in a changing legislative and social landscape

We are delighted to have Kathryn Evans and Katrina Pfeifer from Wynn Williams' employment law team speaking at out next event.

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS:

Kathryn Evans: Kathryn advises on all aspects of employment relations including employment investigations, restructuring, disciplinary processes, restraint of trade issues and negotiated exits.

Katrina Pfeifer: Katrina advises on all aspects of employment law including the application of new legislation, redundancies, personal grievances, performance management, disciplinary processes and investigations.

Kathryn and Katrina will provide valuable knowledge, insights and experiences with respect to employment law processes in an investigation context. Consideration will be given to the following:

  • Protected disclosures (whistleblowing)
  • How employment proceedings interact with fraud investigations and disputes
  • Principles of natural justice
This event is intended to be interactive, so attendees are encouraged to ask questions along the way and actively contribute with their perspectives. We will allow some time for Q&A at the end of the presentation.

This event starts from 4:30pm with networking and nibbles with the presentation to commence at 5pm. For virtual attendees, the presentation will run between 5pm and 6pm.
