Event Summary

Join us for an insightful day of learning and collaborative discussion on what Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) means for Internal Auditors and how it prepares you for the future. This programme is designed to introduce the concept of ESG from an internal audit perspective, equipping participants with foundational knowledge and foresight to navigate this evolving area. By the end of the day, attendees will have a good understanding of ESG's significance within the internal audit function and how to approach its challenges and opportunities, positioning themselves as forward-thinking contributors to organisational resilience and sustainability.

  • Gain insight into your approach to ESG, including its current practices, priorities, and key drivers.
  • Reflect on your role as an internal audit influencer, identifying what actions you're currently taking (or missing) to understand and support ESG objectives.
  • Explore how internal audit can provide meaningful assurance over ESG processes, from building your expertise to applying ESG internal auditing in practice.
  • Anticipate the future of ESG initiatives, considering how they may evolve over the next 18-24 months and what this means for internal audit.
