A practical refresher and update session on the Global Internal Audit Standards (GIAS) and topical requirements, focused on what has changed, what is being clarified, and what internal audit functions are doing in practice across Aotearoa New Zealand and the Pacific.

Key points include: a quick refresh of the structure and intent of the GIAS; topical requirements and what "good" looks like in practice (including reflections on what has changed and what we've learned since the end of 2025); common implementation challenges; tools/templates/resources; and member Q&A.
