Mō te tūnga | About the role
The Oranga Tamariki Risk and Internal Assurance team comprises of Fraud and Integrity, Enterprise Risk and Internal Audit and Assurance.
The Principal Advisor Fraud and Integrity is responsible for providing technical advice, delivery and leadership of fact finding investigations into fraud and integrity related issues across Oranga Tamariki, ensuring the quality and consistency of advice and practice in a busy and dynamic environment.
You will also lead the development, implementation and future maintenance of a fit-for-purpose, proactively focused integrity framework and lead our fraud prevention strategy work.

You will be an accomplished technical leader with highly developed organisational skills to manage a busy and diverse workload and deliver high-quality outcomes in tight timeframes. You will possess excellent relationship management skills and be a proficient communicator.
Ideally you will also bring:
A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, or knowledge gained through extensive relevant experience
Previous experience in fraud and integrity at a senior level and an interest in training and education of staff across the organisation
Experience of being adept at managing multiple projects and prioritising the demands of a diverse range of stakeholders
Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural practices in particular; knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pacific peoples' culture

Oranga Tamariki offer an impartial remuneration package, that offers progression annually for experience through tenure. Annual remuneration for this position starts between $125,926 and $139,459 dependant on experience.
