IIA NZ Report Writing for Internal Auditors

Open to IIA NZ members and non-members

Delivered for IIA NZ by New Zealand's leading plain language consultancy, Write Limited

Course Description

Writing a readable, actionable report is essential when you need to state your case, gain support, enable people to make informed, logical decisions, or inform people of progress and challenges.

Clear, effective reports help improve outcomes. Unclear reports waste time and effort: yours and your readers.

In this practical, interactive workshop, you'll learn how to identify the heart of your report and focus your reader's attention on it.

You'll also learn how to structure your report to lead your reader through your writing in a logical way and draw them to key content. You'll master the art of writing clear recommendations and useful executive summaries.

We'll show you the essential parts of the writing process and how to write faster. And give you useful 'hacks' that will help you write reports that are clear, crisp, and persuasive.

Course Benefits

  • improve the quality of thinking and writing in your reports
